This weekend some of us will be going to the Wildwood Music Festival in White Plains. It’s always a good time and is usually sold out. You bring some lawn chairs, a cooler (f you want – if not, you can buy beer and food there), and listen to some of the best local bands around. You see a lot of familiar faces and get to hang out in a beautiful setting.
The White Plains area has always fascinated me. If you’re looking for nice homes on gorgeous, clear water, it would be hard to find an area to top the stretch of waterfront properties along the lake from Richland down to Oconee Landing. It’s really breathtaking and a little off the beaten path, which is attractive to those folks looking for a little more privacy. Those folks who love to be in the center of it all will still appreciate the glory of the water over on the “Richland side of the lake,” but that 15-minute drive out the Richland Connector and then South along the east shores of the lake will seem like an eternity. It’s all relative, you see. For the rest of us, we’re thinking those few extra miles are worth the reward.
Check out the Wildwood Music Festival HERE – if there are tickets left, scoop them up – it’ll be a great time. Go a little bit early. Mosey on down the way and check out some of the listings we have out in that area. (see below for listing grid) You’ll be glad you did.
There are currently no listings in OCONEE LANDING but please check out these great listings:
