Reserve your spot for the 5th Annual Grand Tasting held at Corrado’s Italian Ristorante. Participants will be able to taste over 75 different 90+ Rated wines, enjoy some wonderful Italian cuisine, and listen to live music! Sat., November 3 | Fall Festival | Grace Baptist Church, Eatonton


Please join us for our annual Fall Festival. There will be inflatables, games, hayride, trunk or treat, and more. Bring the whole family and let the kids dress up in their costumes ( nothing scary please ). Please contact the church with any further questions. See y’all there!


Sat., November 7 | Soapmaking with Shannon Palmquist | Farmview Market, Madison

4:30pm – 7pm

Don’t miss this opportunity to learn the basics to making your own natural soap with skin-loving oils and butters! In this part demo, part hands-on experience, you will get to make your own 1 lb batch of soap to take home with you! This class will give you the confidence to make soap in your own home, and you will get a handout to take with you to help you when you make soap on your own.

Cost: $40 registration/ $17 supply fee to be paid in exact change or check to instructor the night of class – tickets can be purchased on Eventbrite.

Those boots in your closet? They were made for dancing!

This is a beginner to intermediate line dancing class taught by Lora Garcia-Carreras of the The Arts Barn.

Admission is $25 per couple or $15 for individuals. A portion of the sales will go to Hurricane Florence Relief. Beer is not included with a ticket.

Sat., November 10 |Guided Hike to the Mound | Rock Eagle 4-H Center, Eatonton

It’s a good time to be in Eatonton; the stifling Georgia heat has left us until next summer, and Rock Eagle has welcomed fall with open arms! It’s time to get outside and enjoy the crisp autumn air, the crunch of leaves underfoot, and the always breathtaking landscape, painted red, yellow and orange. Join us November 10th for a guided hike up to the Rock Eagle Mound. Learn about the history of the effigy as well as local flora and fauna from one of our seasoned naturalists.

Sun., November 11 | WWI: Looking Back 100 Years | Madison-Morgan Cultural Center, Madison

2pm – 4pm

A FREE Veterans Day symposium commemorating the 100th anniversary of the armistice that ended the Great War on Nov. 11, 1918. The program will feature local and regional historians, including a keynote address by Jamil Zainaldin, recently retired President of Georgia Humanities.
