Lake Oconee’s Golf Course Homes

Lake Oconee was not only named one of the Top 10 Gorgeous Lakes in the US (MSN) , it has been recognized in many Golf Magazines as having one of the BEST GOLF COMMUNITIES in the US.   Imagine living at Lake Oconee and this could be you……

There you are, early morning about to tee off. The cool air accompanying the sunrise gently blows at your back. Morning dew is still fresh on the emerald blades of the bermuda grass, and a group of deer prance across the fairway. There are few moments that rival the first drive on your first hole. Reynold’s Plantation offers 6 (yes 6) different courses so you can have these moments everyday. Some golf clubs are pretty elite, Reynold’s can offer you the class and atmosphere of an elite golf club without the pretension. You do have to be a member, but existing members have slots for guests to join in the atmosphere.

The Oconee course is iconic for the area. Situated along 7,000 yards of gorgeous lake shorelines of Lake Oconee, the Oconee Golf Course was designed by Rees Jones – an internationally renowned architect, designing courses all over the world. He was even involved in the restoration, assuring the best quality for the course. The par-72 course leaves much of the land unchanged giving it a more natural feel. You will not regret spending the time on the course and all that Reynold’s Plantation has to offer!

If you are planning on visiting Lake Oconee, we would love to show you some of the beautiful homes located on one of the 6 golf courses!  Here are some of the homes in Greene County….
