Holiday Shores: Hidden Gem at Lake Sinclair

By marketing May 3, 2019

Lately, we’ve been getting a lot of interest in properties we’ve got listed at Lake Sinclair. It’s funny sometimes when you talk to people who are used to commuting from here to Atlanta and you tell them about properties 30 min away and they take it all in stride like it’s a short walk around the corner. Other people balk at having a 10 min drive to the grocery store. It’s all relative – it’s a give and take pairing of what you’re willing to give in exchange for the value of what you get.

Take Holiday Shores subdivision in Sparta, for example. (Yes, that’s Lake Sinclair) Thirty minutes from the nearest grocery store, this little hidden gem in the country has a big tradeoff for the time it takes to get there: The water is clear, the views are fabulous, the water depth is deep, and, for under $400K, you can have a lakefront home in great condition with a boathouse. That, folks, is what’s called a smokin’ deal.

The neighborhood also has amenities that include a pavilion with a kitchen and community boat ramps. Covenants protect the full-timers (of which there are many), yet also attract the 2nd home buyers who are looking for a nicer investment in a quiet, peaceful neighborhood.

Interested in checking it out? Below are some properties to peek at while you’re there. Also look at Holiday Shores’ little sister, Jamestown Village, just a short mile down the way.
