Throughout month of December – Jan 8, 2018 |Ice Skating | The Ritz-Carlton Reynolds, Lake Oconee

10 am – 2 pm and 4 – 8 pm

The beautiful 6,000-square-foot Ice Rink in The Forest at The Ritz-Carlton will open Thursday, November 23rd. Invigorating exercise and fun are topped off with hot cocoa or hot apple cider. Skating will be available daily through January 8, 2018. The cost for non-hotel guests is $30 per adult, per session, and $20 per child, per session. Ice skating is complimentary for all registered hotel guests.


Dec 1, 2017 | Christmas Tree Lighting | Downtown Greensboro

6 – 8:00pm

Join us for a small town holiday celebration in downtown Greensboro as we flip the switch on “the big tree” on the Courthouse Lawn. Hundreds of twinkling lights decorate the streets as downtown shops stay open late to help visitors get started with their holiday shopping. There will be live performances from area choirs. The official Tree Lighting will take place after 6pm.

Bundle up, ‘baby, it’s cold outside’ – Join friends and neighbors for our annual Holiday Parade and Caroling By Candlelight celebration.  An evening full of music and holiday spirit brought to you by Madison Main Street. Local church choirs, school choral groups and bands, and community based musicians will perform holiday carols certain to warm our hearts. Performers will also lead the crowd in familiar carols to extend the holiday cheer.

Dec 16 and 17, 2017 | Breakfast with Santa | Ritz-Carlton Reynolds, Lake Oconee

Children of all ages will delight in attending Breakfast with Santa where your child’s wish list can be shared with him personally. Young guests will enjoy a breakfast buffet featuring miniature pancakes, muffins, waffles and other pint-sized breakfast items. Families will also receive one complimentary 5×7” photo with Santa. Reservations are required and priced at $48 per adult and $28 per child, ages 4 to 12. Children under the age of 3 are complimentary.
