Shoes of Service is a program that helps give shoes to those in needs. Da Vinci Foot and Ankle along with LOA sophomore, Anna Harris will be hosting the run. The race starts at 9:00AM and will start at Lake Oconee Academy. The 5k is $25/person and the fun run is $20/person. Support the Morgan County Humane Society by attending their Low Country Boil held at 1561 Eatonton Hwy in Madison. Friday- Sunday, April 21st -23rd 23rd Annual BRAG Spring Tune-up Ride – Rutledge

For the past 23 years BRAG or Bicycle Ride Across Georgia has held an annual Spring ride. The rides range anywhere from 20 to 100 miles, just depending on the rider’s preference. Rides start on Friday and continue through Sunday with different rides starting at different times and on different days. “Home base” is at the Sunflower farm in Rutledge. Participants can camp out on the farm and enjoy a live band Friday and Saturday night as well as various food trucks during the day. The Pete Nance Boys & Girls Club will be hosting the first Historic Ramble which includes a tour of historic homes, churches, and other sites in downtown Greensboro and Union Point. There will be story telling by locals for each of the sites visited. The tour will start at 10:00AM and end at 4:00 PM.
